FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Visas on Koh Samui, explained simply. Your case is unique? Ask us on WhatsApp.
Do you display your prices?
No. Each file is assessed individually, then a tailored proposal is sent privately on WhatsApp. Only official government fees (like the 1,900 THB extension fee) are mentioned on this site, because they are public and paid at Immigration.
Which islands do you cover?
Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. All three depend on the Samui Immigration Office in Maenam, and we prepare files remotely on WhatsApp before your trip.
Which visa categories can you help with?
Tourist visa extensions, the DTV (Destination Thailand Visa), retirement visas (Non-O, O-A, O-X), marriage and family visas, visa runs, 90-day reports and re-entry permits.
Can I stay in Thailand without a visa?
Citizens of 93 countries currently receive a 60-day visa-exempt entry, extendable once by 30 days at Immigration. Rules change; we confirm what applies to your nationality before you commit to anything.
What is the DTV visa?
The Destination Thailand Visa, introduced in 2024, is a 5-year multiple-entry visa allowing stays of 180 days per entry, for remote workers and people joining Thai soft-power activities such as Muay Thai or cooking courses. Proof of 500,000 THB in funds is required.
Am I eligible for a retirement visa?
From age 50, with either 800,000 THB in a Thai bank account or a monthly income of at least 65,000 THB. We review your exact situation before recommending the Non-O route or an alternative.
Are visa runs still possible?
Border runs are increasingly restricted and repeated visa-exempt entries attract scrutiny. We tell you honestly when a visa run still makes sense and when a proper visa is the safer path.
What is the 90-day report?
Foreigners on long-stay visas must report their address to Immigration every 90 days using form TM47. It is free, and we can track your deadlines and prepare each report.
Are you a government agency?
No. We are a private, independent assistance service. Visa decisions are always made by Thai Immigration and the relevant authorities.
How fast do you answer on WhatsApp?
Usually within a few hours during Thai business hours, and always the same day. Send your visa category to +66 82 819 4733 to start.
